+ Bloom

Winemaker: Sam Rose

Bloom is crafted by the Rose family, one of New Zealand’s most esteemed wine producers, from sustainable farmed, biodynamic vineyards. Open Bloom and savour with friends, with feasts, for fun. Fresh. Vibrant. Beautiful.

Bloom Pinot Gris

+ Mahi

Winemaker: Brian Bicknell

Mahi, meaning ‘our work, our craft’, began in 2001, fulfilling a dream for Brian and Nicola Bicknell. Since their first vintage in 2001, they have built together a great group of growers who are committed to their land and to the wines that come from it. They still work with their original vineyard and over the years we have slowly built an understanding of the sites and now see a continuity and typicity in the wines. Mahi sources sustainable fruit and all vineyards that they work with are under the Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand (SWNZ) programme.

Central Otago

+ Chard Farm

Winemaker: John Wallace | Viticulturalist: Michelle Crawford

Chard Farm was established in 1987 by Motueka brothers Rob & Greg Hay. They were the first to come into the area with the intention of setting up a commercial vineyard. They were in search of the “terroir” that best emulated the cool continental climate and soils of some of the greatest wine producing areas of the world — most notably the Burgundy and Alsace regions of France. That search lead to Central Otago. Their long term goal is to craft the finest classic cool climate varietal wines; Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay.

Chard Farm Pinot Noir

+ Rabbit Ranch

Winemaker: John Wallace | Viticulturalist: Michelle Crawford

Land that was once a high country sheep station is now a flourishing vineyard. Sheep and rabbits co-existed on the land for quite some time but the sheep couldn’t keep up with the nocturnal activity of the rabbits, and in the end were driven off the land. The owner of the Rabbit Ranch – Mr McGregor, planted some vines and tried unsuccessfully to reduce the rabbit population. Rabbits now run free on the vineyard, and fuelled by high altitude Pinot Noir, some are reputed to be the size of ponies, but that’s another story…
